"I will never forget the unbelievable scene when you suddenly appeared in front of our band at the Grand Mythological Ball. Pablo's light show projected on your dancing wings transported us into a fantacy realm that was totally awesome."  Jeffrey Sick - electric Violin for the band, Guarneri Underground

Dear Larry,
Just a short note to say thank you for your surprise appearance at my evening at WICA. ~ What a special event and you helped make a fun evening ~ You are amazing - walking on stilts has to be challenging - but dancing - that has to be dangerous! It was a wonderful evening - everyone had a great time...

“It really was great to meet you at Langley. Like most of the people in the park that incredibly gorgeous Sunday afternoon, I was mesmerized by your performance. It was truly magical.
I look forward to seeing you soon.”

“ Thank you so much for helping to make the 15th Annual “Breath of Life” Gala such a “tall” success..... The Gala was electric thanks to you.”

Suzanne Hight, Live Auction Production

I just wanted to write you a little note of thanks and appreciation for doing such a great job at “SAM goes Black & White... The ‘98 ‘98 Ball” Everyone was very pleased with your performance and it was a pleasure to work with you... and I look forward to both working with you again and to seeing you at other events this Summer.” Sincerely, Dani Bennett, One Reel

Uncle Sam greeting kids-compacted

“I want to extend a big thanks to you and your wife for your fabulous stilt walking at Auburn's Fourth of July Festival. You were quite an attraction: a VERY tall man in patriotic dress gliding throughout the park. The kids loved you, especially your human archways during the parade. The kids were not the only ones, though. Your picture was featured in the July 5th issue of The King County Journal on page A3. We are in the process of getting an original copy and will send it to you, but for now we have enclosed copies.
You and your wife delighted both young and old festivalgoers. You really helped contribute to the success of the event. Thanks again!
Best regards,

“Larry Dobson has performed as a very tall Uncle Sam on stilts at the AT&T Family Fourth for the past four years. He is an excellent stilt walker and has been a favorite attraction every year with the 4th of July spectators.

As most of the people at our event want to keep their seats, stilt walking has been a successful form of entertainment as they can go through the crowd and remain visible.

We have changed many of the other performers at the event from year to year, but always ask Larry to return as the crowd does not tire of his performance.”
Sincerely, Jeannie Falls, Event Director

"Larry is already part of the Cirque de Larry so he's already run off with himself...I've not seen a man as strong and limber as he is at that age. He is a gem. Love the smile.  Tell him Hi for me, OK?”

“The Stilt Walker is always a favorite of the students, and I am so grateful you could join us again this year. What you do is just amazing -- not only the talent, but the way you interact with the children.  I hope you had a good experience and will join us again in the future.”
